MOLE CONCEPT

Definition of mole:

Amount of substances that contains the same number of particles (atoms, molecules, formula units, ions) as the are atoms in exactly in 12 g of C-12.

1 mol contains 6.023 x1023 particles

6.023 x 1023 is known as Avogadro's number (NA)
